Welcome to MAYA Design's World Usability Day 2006 page. We are collecting examples of products that are difficult or confusing to use. Part of the purpose is to give people a venue to complain about unusable things, but we're also going to use this list of hard-to-use products as part of our World Usability Day Game Show.
The Game Show will take place on the 14th of November from 4-6 PM at 2629 Carson St. in Pittsburgh. Each of our contestants (who are usability and design experts from the Pittsburgh area) will critique the products and offer redesign suggestions. It will be a friendly competition to see who can make the best recommendations, but the real goal is to have fun, create a little diversion, and to let everyone see the potential benefits of good design.
